 Hello there!

Today I'm sharing a card I have made to participate in the My Favorite Things 2017 Card Design Superstar Challenge. I will be entering this card into the Clean and Simple Genius category.

To create this card, I first made the background layer by blending 'spun sugar' and 'picked raspberry' distress inks. I allowed that to dry for a few hours before adding the snow effect.
Using the MFT 'snowfall' stencil, I applied embossing paste to the ink blended background. I set that aside to dry for a while also.

I stamped and cut a yeti and some trees from the 'beast friends' stamp set and coloured them in with copics.

For my top layer, I die cut some Neenah cardstock with the scalloped edge rectangle die from the 'blueprints 27' and then cut the little window opening with the 'jumbo peek a boo circle' die.

I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment onto some MFT 'razzleberry' cardstock. The sentiment is from the 'more essential sentiments' stamp set. I then die cut that using the thin banner die from 'blueprints 27'.

Once all of my components were ready, I adhered them together. The scalloped piece was propped up with some foam tape and the yeti was also.
I then die cut a little heart from the coordinating dies for the 'lucky' set. I added some wink of stella for a little bit of sparkle and then added glossy accents to give it some nice shine.
