Today I'm sharing the card I made for my husband for Father's Day...
For this card I used the limited edition stamp set from Scrapbook.com called 'You're a Fungi'.
I decided to make a circle card for something a bit different and a little more of a novelty.
I die cut a circle from some Neenah cardstock using lawn fawn stitched circle dies and stamped the mushroom image onto it. I then stamped the bow tie and the face and then masked the whole mushroom image.
Using a piece of low tack tape, I masked the area to divide the sky and grass areas. I used a blending tool and applied distress inks to those areas, then removed the tape and using a Copic marker I added some tufts of grass.
I also coloured the mushroom image with Copic markers.
I made my circle card base using the largest circle from the Lawn Fawn Large Stitched Circles dies. I then cut a circle from some dark charcoal card using the same die. The charcoal circle was attached to the card base and then I adhered the circle with the mushroom image in the centre. Using the Lawn Fawn stitched circle frames, I cut a frame from the same charcoal card and adhered that to frame the image.
The sentiment was heat embossed onto some red card and cut into a banner shape. To finish off the design I added a sprinkling of clear droplets from PPP.
Inside the card I stamped a sentiment from the Gleeful Gardens stamp set. "I love you so mush" and underneath that I stamped "Happy Father's Day" using a stamp from the Dad + Me stamp set.
Have a great day!
