Lawn Fawn Fairies Card

Today I'm sharing another card I made with the Lawn Fawn fairy friends set.

The movie 'Tinkerbell' inspired these fairies. My daughter used to watch it all the time!
In the movie, the fairies each have their own role to play in nature and so I decided these fairies would have the job of painting the flowers!

I stamped the fairies, flowers and paintbrushes and coloured them in with Copic markers. I also added some silver detail to the wings and dresses and added some clear wink of stella to the wings for a pretty shimmer. I decided I wanted them to wear little flower headpieces so I stamped them and fussy cut them out and attached them to the fairies.

The background piece was cut from the largest stitched rectangle and I used distress inks to create a pastel background. I also used distress ink to create the grass and I cut that piece using the same stitched rectangle first to create the stitched edge, and then I cut it with the grassy border die.

I adhered the pieces and propped up the fairies using foam tape. The sentiment was heat embossed in silver and I finished it off with some Pretty Pink Posh clear sequins.

I decided to play along with the Lawnscaping Challenge! This current challenge is 'Sparkle it Up'. The wink of stella doesn't show up very well in the photos but the sparkly wings along with the sequins do make this a pretty and sparkly card :)

Thanks so much for stopping by, have a great day!
