Mama Elephant Bunny Anniversary Shaker Card

Hello!

Today I would like to share a card I made for my husband for our 15th anniversary :)

First I stamped these cute little cuddling bunnies from Mama Elephant's Honey Bunny stamp set, then I coloured them in using Copic markers.

I cut a piece of grey cardstock using Lawn Fawn's stitched rectangles and then used a SSS stitched circle to cut the circle window. I love how these dies leave the stitched pattern on both the inside and the outside of the cut.
I also cut a piece of clear acetate with the same stitched rectangle die so that it would fit the grey piece neatly. I lined it up and adhered it to the back of the grey cardstock to create the front of the window. I doubled up strips of foam tape on the back of the grey card/acetate, filled the little window with the shaker mix and then stuck my top folding card base to it.

I die-cut the 'happy' from white cardstock and attached it where I wanted it to go. I stamped the 'anniversary' part of the sentiment with memento tuxedo black ink, cut it out with scissors leaving a thin white border and then attached it using foam tape.
I then adhered the little bunnies at the bottom of the shaker window and the card was complete!

I'm going to enter it into the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. The theme is 'we can see clearly' and the idea is to use either acetate or vellum in your project. You can find out more about this challenge by clicking here.

Thanks for stopping by, have a great weekend!
