Lawn Fawn Sparkle Border Fairy Card

Hello,

Today I'm sharing a card that I am going to enter into the Sparkle and Shine Challenge.

Here is the challenge inspiration:

I decided to use a cute Lawn Fawn Fairy for the design but to keep it fairly simple in layout and design. I just knew I wanted a bit of sparkle!

To make the background, I watercolored some stripes using Seedless Preserves distress ink. I also added some splatter. When that was dry, I die-cut some Tim Holtz deco paper using the Lawn Fawn stitched rectangle frames. I also cut the frames out of white cardstock as the deco paper is quite thin.
I adhered the gold sparkly frame to the white cardstock frames and then adhered them to the watercolour base.

I stamped the fairy and coloured her in using Copic markers. I added clear wink of stella to her wings for some shimmer. I then heat embossed the little crown from the Critters Ever After set in gold, fussy cut it and added it to the fairy to make her into a little fairy princess!

To complete the design, I added some Pretty Pink Posh clear sequins. I decided to leave a sentiment off the card as I was happy with the way it looked and didn't want to overcomplicate it.
