Today I'm sharing the last of the Instagram cards which were posted b.b. (before blog!)
I had already stamped and coloured the bear and cupcake images during kathyrac's Coloring Challenge. I coloured them with copic markers and added some shimmer to the cupcake frosting with a clear wink of stella pen. I also used a white gel pen to add some highlights on the bear's cheeks.
The images are so sweet that I wanted a fairly simple design to highlight them as the main feature.
To make the background, I used a dauber to sponge some ink for some colour to set them up on.
I die cut the word 'friend' from some white cardstock and then sponged on the same ink, adding more to the bottom to try and create an ombre look.
I attached the images and the word to the card and finished the design off with some scattered sequins.
