Lawn Fawn Whale Anniversary Card

Hello!

Today I'm sharing a card I made for my parents for their anniversary!

I used the adorable whales from Lawn Fawn's whale you be mine stamp set. I stamped them and coloured them with copic markers. 

I die-cut a background circle using Simon Says Stamp stitched circle dies. I then die cut 3 more from 2 different shades of blue and one from a piece of vellum. I used the ocean wave borders die to make the waves in the circles. 

I adhered all 4 layers together and then adhered the whales using foam tape to prop them up a bit. 

I then heat embossed the little heart splash with clear embossing powder to give it that clear watery look!

I stamped the sentiment from Sophie's sentiments and tied some twine around the top of the card. I finished off the design with some sequins. 

I'm going to enter it into the Simon Says Stamp Work It Wednesday challenge. The theme is pastel!
